Went back 2 MJS on Fri 2 c my old teachers... managed 2 catch my 2 form teachers :) Ms Tan brought us 2 the SL Room... hmmm.. learnt sth there... "First build castles in the air, then bulid castlese everywhere" makes quite a lot of sense... the students had this training programme 2 become leaders... there was one part I admired, where the students drew lots to exchange sandcastles after they had halfway bulit them, yes they were pissed at sb taking away their hard effort, sme complained that it was not fair. most gave up. there was only one grp which decided to con't with the mess, to make the best out of what they had left. the instructor then told them "life is unfair, fate is never fair, but being the best you can be will make your life worthwhile." this statement is true to some extent, sometimes there is no need to rush 4 the skies when you know that you can only reach the peak, and try to be the best you can be. New Year Resolution: "Take things as they come"

Must choose Fri... haish... tht tt I could try 2 b happy this yr... dun think so much, let things take their course...

hmmm... got into 3B, not much luck at getting the CEC posts, cos there r 5 squashers n 7 PRC scholars, voting for their own kind only la... but I got chi rep post... Ms Ding ROX! Extra 20 mins 4 recess... rock on! As chi rep, at least I can still brush up my chi la... ;) not so bad...
I still remember what I used to say:"A name without fame is a fire without flame" sometimes, I feel like retiring from the political world, all of it. I'm getting tired, running n running, especially when there r too many failures n things dun go your way, however hard u try. Its fate who makes a fool out of man... I learnt that. This year, i'm gonna take things in my stride... no more white hair lk sme comic book kungfu guy for those 2 idiots to have sth 2 talk (I rarely put ppl down / badmouth them by calling them idiots, but I have to tell the truth or they'll never learn)
Currently studying the 48 Laws of Power... sth I learnt abt fate: smetimes wad's urs is urs, wad's not urs is not yours, simple yet difficult to understand... (like all the posts and the path I had paved for myself, somehow things weren't that smooth cos of the class I was put in... who to blame? take it as a challenge, one of life's many...)
hmmm... juz found out tt I wun get 2 hear that cute voice anymore... so sad... tht tt it could at least brighten 1 more year of my hectic life of mugging and "politicking"...

Yay! Juz came back frm OBS! Sooo tired lor... Kk, the adventures of Rajaratnam Watch 4 the 4 days of OBS...
Day 1
did sme kayaking n rescue ops on first day, a lot of assigning 2 do. Me (the watch leader) left everything 2 the ppl, get them a chance at leadership... wadeva... kk, we had rescue ops whereby we were forced 2 capsize n then smeone rescues us... water was damn salty...
Day 2
rock climbing! rocks man! me n Bryan climbed the snake n ladder, 4 storeys high, 10m above ground. only 2 pairs managed tt by the way... we rock man! well done! tied knots the rest of the day, getting ready 4 expedition... got sme fun activities lk ding n dong "this is a dong" "a what?" "a dong" "ohhh..." it was spastic but fun lar...
Day 3
Hiking tdy, not new, but we had to carry a ton on our backs... lol, rationed food... simple lunch, canned food, pitched basha above an ant hole lol! not tt bad lar, still got to slp, sme guy tried to order abt lk he was the watch leader, well I din care much till it got too far... I'm a good guy lar, though sme ppl say that my shout can send shivers down their spine but I always explain 2 them wad's going on n wad's wrong, hehe.. sry guys... I guess I'm the only lenient watch leader... hey hey, my mind candle game was fun rite?
Day 4
a shity day... legs tired frm the hike... went canoeing the whole day... damn loser, was last for the first part of the expedition, l8er became first... hahax... din knoe how 2 control the boat at first... campfire rocked... save pme ppl couldn't do the rafflesians unite when I did the sign... haish, was screwwed up lar... slept 4 2 hrs only... dead tired... the nxt day canoed back. hey hey learnt a new song... hmmm shan't say much on the song.. "carpenter, scholar, ice-cream man, fireman" tt was the song lar, 4 those who knoe it, yar u knoe its crude lar...
Day 5
back 2 mainland, got 2 clean up, OBS shirt, slept very early...
Connel was a gd instructor lar, we'll remember u! hmm... got sme ppl I knoe... An Shing - little poser, Bryan - tall guy (lk me), Melvin... (2C)(gave sb a nick, snan't say who, but well, pls dun do it too many times lar k? not veri nice... (the nick Joker was given by the class, not his fault)) , Kevin (01) (nice guy, my assistant), Kelvin (02) (hmmm... I do not lk 2 order ppl abt, I take them by reason, this one u mus learn frm me k? this camp isin't lk a UG one cos I din want it 2 turn out tt way, so dun use the same attitude as u would use in scouts camp k? I dun lecture ppl, but u can learn slowly la, if not most ppl think u tao or sth lk aka dictator... throw tt image away k?) , Cheng Xiang (aka Joker, u knoe why la horz?) (b careful of how u pepper your words k? I really must say this, u really put too much pepper in your words, every sentence has a F***, CB, Fa****, shit, and many more...) (look out 4 the teachers once u reack RI k? dun get urself into trouble)
