I don’t want people to judge me based on how much I am worth to them in terms of value, but I wouldn’t mind if they value me or judge me based on my values. I thank Kelly and Vic for helping me realize that life is not all about chasing grades. Vic, I see in u the old me, teaming up with all the pros, for the best grades possible… lol… I was lk that in sec 1, sec 2, ya… until now… when I wanted to look beyond what we see before us. All this while I have been in the run, for a certain task or another. No time to stop and relax, or even slow down. The work has put a toll on my health 5 years ago… im not letting that happen again. I should not put so much stress on myself… since now is the hols, maybe I shld try vic’s method, study a little now, l8er not so stressed… sounds right, dunno whether it would work on a person like me who forgets things in like one week… ok… its tiring, I feel like stopping but I can’t. cos the tide brings me along… and I cannot stop it. Too bad for me la… will have to swim with the tide. Sail with the waves? I gotta learn.
It’s a long time since I have posted, nth much to post, currently tried playing CO and DOTA… lol owned mingrun… thanks Kelly, good teacher… J hahax. Ya went kelly’s hse yesterday, to finish up maths challenge, den ended up playing RO and DOTA, owned MR like siao… MR damn bu shuang being owned by a noob like me er… 3 times consecutively? Still have to feed him lor… looking for only love by trademark, dun ask me why. Selling myRIad tickets for $15, RGGE tix for $10… lol… bttr buy ours la… RGGE so ex… no wonder muz beg me 2 sell 4 u… ( dun kill me if u r reading this ) cos ur tix is so ex for only 1 perf wheras we have like 5? Lol… shan’t be so evil… Vic… relax la… one day u will see the bigger view of things… not just GPAs as they don’t say a thing of your character.
I don’t admire those who score high without having to study, cos what they are getting is not the rewards of their own work and their effort, but its god-given. Although there are others who are not so lucky, they have the resilience and determination. They work hard, and I am happy for them. I belong to the second category. So there is no point envying me, or being jealous, cos im working based or a ground zero, or like one might say, from scratch. Please DO NOT treat me as your benchmark, cos I do not live up to that standard, and I hate the competition. We have ourselves as our competitors, not the people around us. I understood this from u Kelly… lol… thx… I wonder how many people would be happy for me if they got a 69.0, rounding to 69, while I got a 69.1 rounding to 70. My friends, would most feel an unjust churn in their heart, on why life is so unfair… or sth like that, or would there still be a few who would say, “ u r lucky, congrats. ” hmm… I think I have found a friend who is like that… J still got a maths challenge to do… im glad I didn’t choose my partner based on his grades, but based on friendship. I believe that we must be united as a team in order to succeed, like how we pwned the Geog pt… lolx… won the whole level. We put in a lot of effort, met like countless times during the hols… n we succeeded, owning all the pro teams with like the best ppl… we can do it… I believe that we can. And we shall do it again. Its not always the people with the inborn talent that can win. We can win too… the song writing competition was a success… we got chosen to represent RI, with another 2 teams… ya… if we put in the same amount of effort, we will bring back the glory.
