so tdy was not tt eventful.. i'm so happy i've done up my l8est econs ws.. qn1.. on monetary policies.. and yups.. i did it within 45 mins.. =) happy with myself.. hahax..
chatted with godsis simjoo last nite.. long time nv chat le! hahax.. it's so long since we've had e chance to sit down and chat.. and it's been so long since i've been able to talk heart-to-heart.. without need for masks, (and pride or prejudice.. LOL..) was kinda musing about life these days.. simjoo said i'm still quite emo.. HAHA.. k ba.. i shall avoid reading emo stuffs k? and i'll think more happy thoughts.. =)
oh.. i just watched butterfly effect on the bus on my way home.. hahax.. yea, was on my hp.. so tt i'd not spend unnecesary time on e comp or on e tv. less distractions, yet being able to appreciate leisure. how's tt? =) oh wells, the ending was kinda emo. story goes lk this. according to chaos theory in physics(yes, it does exist.), the flutter of a butterfly's wings has the power to change the result of a tornado. this is because the tornado is a culimination of the wind directions and pressures, and the butterfly's little flutter had indirectly made a little contribution, that made the tornado possible. unbelieveable, but true. yea.. so much for the theory part. but u needa understand the theory to understand the movie ba.. HAHA.. it's for physics peeps yo..
so the movie goes tt there's a guy who gets blackouts when he's at a young age. and the doc says, get him a diary, so that he'll be able to at least remember the events that lead to his blackouts, and then remember what happened during those blackouts. so tt's wad he did.. and finally when he grew up, her realised tt by reading his diaries, he's able to fill in the blanks of his blackouts. and able to understand what really happened then. but then, he's also able to alter the duration of time during his blackout periods, to change the course of the past, and through this alternate reality, change the present. yea.. so he tries to go about making ppl happy.. righting some wrongs that he felt were bad.. and in the end, nothing worked out.. always, there was a trade off, one good thing for another. none of the realities he chose were perfect. he finally decided to break off with his childhood sweetheart, so that in the future, they would not meet, and none of the evils would have happened. he burnt his diaries after tt so that he would not change his mind, and go back to change his past. (his dad had a similar ability.. lol..) he walks on the street one day, and they walk past each other, turning to find each other familar, and then walking away again.. :'(
gah.. sad ending ba.. in the end, is it always that we have to sacrifice our selfish desires for the happiness of others around us? can't we all be happy together? the ways of god are weird. ultimately, he wants the balance of society ba.. no one being too well off. thus making it impossible for a perfect society. dear god, can i ask you this question, why do you work against what i work for? =(
oh wells, heys simjoo, you remember the time you asked me if we'd ever meet if things were different and we'd not been OG mates? i said probably not rite? since circumstances are this way that we're not in the same cca, neither do we have common close friends.. well, i'd change my answer now. if god dictates that we meet someday, we would have. i'd still meet you someday, maybe in a different way.. but we would have met yea.. it's god's will. and neither one of us can change it.. hahax.. it's not possible yea.. the threads of life have been intertwined in fate. and i thank god for giving me such a nice godsis. (:
