interesting story. some councillor joycelyn messed up an order for 2 bowls of ramen and gave only one. so she offered a packet of saba fish as a make up for the blunder. ramen = 3.80, saba = 4.80. since jiale insisted on his ramen, some guy ate the saba fish instead. and that guy felt quite bad, cos the food might have been hers, as the councillors dun order extra food for fun. so tdy he decided to pass her some cash, least share the burden from the cash she lost. so he passed her $2, "heys, ytd's saba fish, was it your dinner?" ok, i can so hear jiaying chiding me.. oops.. heh. but oh wells. =P
mugging was kinda fun ba.. feels lk RI days now.. me, jiale, amos, mingxuan, kuanhua, mugging at b58, it's all blocked out by the blinds on both sides at both windows, so it's lk a classroom where there's no link to the outside world at all. doors are lockable on both sides from the inside. yea, happy mugging man.. damn productive ba.. esp with the 3 hrs of blasting the aircon at full blast. had to go get my thick archery jacket cos it was bloody freezing.. HAHA.. but fun la. welcome back to RI days, where ppl say what they want, do what they want, and heck care the rules. and jiale, must cut down on your swearing k! HAHA.. the same RI blood flows through us.. the strong, brave, and free.. as we all hop over the parapet to admire the night scenery.. yea, against the school rules of course. it's kinda dangerous if you drop down.. LOL.. well, we look out for each other.. no hypocrisy, no competition, no jealousy..
4 years pass really fast yea.. wished i'd enjoyed more of RI life. all the nonsense and shit that we do, RG girls don't run from prefects. they stand there and wait to get booked when the prefect calls out to them.. RI guys run from prefects, trip prefects, alright, i wasn't the extreme ba.. though the worst i've done is maybe fight with a guy in the middle of the school field in sec 2.. and whack up a really defiant prefect who insisted on booking me for sleeping off morning assembly when i wasn't even supposed to be in sch in the first place.
some hardcore ppl even dare to shout back at teachers.. oh, if it were RJ or RG, the class would be damn quiet after tt, if it were RI, the class would be cheering him on.. :D there's the bond to stand up for your fellow friends when they need support.. and that's an unspoken rule.. in RJ, you still need to ask for help when you already look like you need it..
in RI, morning assemblies exist only because people stand at the parade square and then a crowd forms. if no one goes for assembly, there would be no assembly even if there was.. HEH. :D we're damn win sia. there would just be an empty parade square because everyone doesn't see anyone going for assembly and chooses to assume that there isn't any.. and since everyone pons, giving everyone a demerit point would not do any good. yes, it's the whole batch.. a batch detention would not work out as well, as it is not even possible to contain so many ppl to keep quiet for even just 3 mins. in RJ, there are girls who go, "but there is morning assembly what.." and go for morning assembly just because they are told to even if they find it a bother.
yea, i hate people who don't have the guts to stand up for what they want.. meek, slimy hypocrites.
maybe it's cos i've had to struggle to continue to act out life like that just to fit in to the crowd. but some people are just naturally followers and blind believers. can't stand it la. why can't every one of us just be ourselves, and let ourselves free?
ok, back to mugging. shall go cope aircon classrooms tmr again. :) and i kinda broke the covered up comp thingy cos i totally din know it was locked. heh.. who ask RJ to lock everything.. even the lifts are locked from 1M to 4.. can't bloody press. but well, people can still take the lifts, go up to the fifth floor, and then walk down to the fourth. HEH. beat the system, suckers. only those bloody guai kids would walk up four floors cos the school says so. i like the RI spirit. i'm proud to say i'm from Raffles. just RI, not RJ. unity as one. and together we can accomplish so many things. if anyone asks me what my alma mater is, i'd say RI. it's what groomed me to be a leader, thinker and pioneer. to lead RIGE and my dear sec1Is, to think the best ways to get around the school rules all the time without breaking them, and to pioneer the 3 yr long Project Dreams to help the disadvantaged. a leader doesn't sit and do nothing about things he doesn't like. he stands up to the issue and confronts it. and he is able to garner the support from the people to overthrow useless bureaucracy, and idiotic regulations.
